Boone Lake is a TVA resevoir located in Washington County, TN and Sullivan County, TN. It is formed by the South Fork Holston River, behind the Boone Dam. With Recreational facilities, surrounding homes around the lake, and sport fishing available, this lake is a quick option for central "Tri-Cities" lake activity.

 

Currently, Boone Dam is under repair by TVA. As such, the lake level is down for an undetermined period of time. Please see the link, TVA Boone Dam Project, for information on the progress of these repairs.
